JetGlow Aviation is a premium aircraft detailing and exterior condition management company based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. We specialize in high-end aircraft detailing, window restoration, brightwork polishing, and ceramic protection for general aviation and business aircraft.

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Aircraft Detailing Crew Manager to lead daily field operations, manage technicians, and ensure every aircraft meets JetGlow’s professional and safety standards.

Position Overview

The Crew Manager is responsible for supervising aircraft detailing crews, coordinating daily work, maintaining safety and quality standards, and serving as the on-site leader for JetGlow operations. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, working directly on the ramp and in hangars while managing people, schedules, and quality control.

This is an aviation environment. Professionalism, safety awareness, and leadership are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise aircraft detailing technicians

• Plan and assign daily work tasks and crews

• Ensure all work follows JetGlow SOPs, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines

• Perform and oversee aircraft exterior detailing, window restoration, brightwork polishing, and coating application

• Conduct quality control inspections before aircraft release

• Maintain job timelines and coordinate with management on scheduling

• Train and mentor new and existing team members

• Enforce safety standards around aircraft, equipment, and chemicals

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment

• Communicate professionally with clients, pilots, and airport personnel

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience (aviation, detailing, maintenance, or similar field)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Comfortable working around aircraft, ramps, and hangars

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong communication and team-management skills

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

• Must be able to participate in random drug testing

• Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain FAA airport security clearance

• Must comply with all airport access and security requirements

Preferred (not required):

• Aviation background (pilot, A&P, line service, military, airport ops, etc.)

• Aircraft or high-end detailing experience

• Experience training or managing teams

• Familiarity with aviation safety culture and SOP-driven environments
