Position Overview

As an Aircraft Detailer, you will be responsible for the safe, professional cleaning, polishing, and protection of aircraft exteriors and windows. This is hands-on aviation work performed on active airport ramps and in hangar environments.

This is not automotive detailing. Attention to detail, discipline, and respect for aircraft are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Exterior washing and detailing of GA and business aircraft

• Aircraft window cleaning, polishing, and restoration (training provided)

• Brightwork and metal polishing

• Application of aviation-approved ceramic coatings and protectants

• Safe use of ladders, stands, and detailing equipment around aircraft

• Follow JetGlow SOPs, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment

• Communicate professionally with team members and clients

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Comfortable working around aircraft, ramps, and hangars

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

• Valid driver’s license

• Willingness to learn aviation-specific processes

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

• Must be able to participate in random drug testing

• Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain FAA airport security clearance

• Must comply with all airport access and security requirements

Preferred (not required):

• Aviation background (pilot, mechanic, line service, military, etc.)

• Detailing experience (aircraft, marine, or high-end automotive)

• Familiarity with safe chemical handling
